Developed with MetaMetrics, Beable’s computer-adaptive assessment establishes each student’s Lexile level and the precise starting point for instruction, differentiation, and growth planning.
RIASEC Interest Discovery
Based on psychologist John Holland’s widely used career-interest framework, RIASEC identifies six types of interests: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. Beable uses each student’s RIASEC profile to help them understand what interests and motivates them and discover career paths that may be a natural fit.

Beable translates each student’s starting point, grade-level expectations, and growth goal into the instruction, support, and time on task needed to accelerate. As students progress, their path adapts so educators can see who is on pace and where additional support is needed.

Acceleration Planner
The Acceleration Planner calculates the amount and frequency of practice each student needs based on their starting Lexile level and growth goal. As new data comes in, educators can see whether students are on pace and adjust time or support accordingly.
Precisely Differentiated Instruction
Every Beable lesson is available across 10 Lexile® levels in English and 7 levels in Spanish, so students can engage with the same grade-level standards at the right level of challenge. Monthly Lexile updates automatically recalibrate instruction as students grow.
In-Lesson Scaffolds
Built-in supports help students work independently with challenging text and unfamiliar language, including translation in 100+ languages, dictionary support, text-to-speech, and other targeted scaffolds.
Word Study for Students with Foundational Reading Gaps
For students who need foundational reading support, Beable provides targeted Word Study to build the word-recognition skills required for more complex text.
