Career Exploration Every Student Can Access
Help every student see where their interests can take them. Beable connects who they are to where they can go, with career learning at their reading level and the literacy, knowledge, and skills to get there.
Request a DemoCareer exploration can shape how students see school, themselves, and their future. Beable gives every student a structured K–12 experience that connects their interests to careers, programs, and possibilities they can pursue.
Because career content is personalized to each student’s reading level, more students can fully participate in the experience. And with a shared language around interests and future possibilities, students, educators, and families have new ways to connect around what comes next.
Beable’s career experience is powered by RIASEC, the research-backed career-interest framework developed by vocational psychologist John Holland and used by the U.S. Department of Labor’s O*NET career exploration system.
RIASEC identifies six areas of interest: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. Because careers are mapped through the same framework, students can connect what interests them to real career possibilities.
In Beable, those insights keep working. They shape the careers students explore, the pathways they consider, and the learning they encounter throughout their experience.
The Beable Framework
From Interest to Action
Step 1:
Get to Know Me
Students identify their RIASEC interests and literacy starting point, building a profile that helps educators understand what engages them and how to make career learning accessible.
Step 2:

Students explore careers, pathways, colleges, programs, and certifications connected to their interests, while seeing the literacy requirements associated with the futures they are considering.
Step 3:
Create My Path
Students build career knowledge and skills through personalized career-connected learning and hands-on experiences designed to help them prepare for future success.

Every career has a reading demand. Beable shows students that demand using the Lexile® Framework for Reading, the widely used standard for measuring reading ability and text complexity. Students can see the Lexile level associated with careers they’re interested in and understand how literacy growth can help open more opportunities.
